Summitview has provided substance use education services in the residential program for years for youth and adults. In 2023, Summitview was awarded a grant from El Dorado County, via the State of California’s Opiate Settlement Funds. Our goal is to serve as many youth as possible, free of charge. We plan to offer services in our established Wellness Centers, in addition to our outpatient offices.
What Services are Offered
Summitview’s substance use treatment team provides prevention and early intervention services, including education in the form of presentations for small and large groups, in addition to brief individual and group treatment.
Professional Training
We know there is high demand for these services in the county, and therefore have incorporated professional development and internship opportunities for those pursuing education and credentialing in the substance use field. Our hope is to increase the number of professionals in the field, which would increase service opportunities for our community.
