Leaving my previous career and starting my new journey in the mental health field was scary to say the least. After accepting my new practicum internship position, I was provided with a training schedule. This training conducted was professional, informative and helped me to feel confident in my new role working as a wellness clinician intern. Both supervisors have helped to support me as a new therapist. While still in grad school I heard horror stories from my colleagues about their practicum sites and felt blessed to be in the position I was in with Summitview. The team I work with has helped me to grow as a new therapist and feel more confident in my role.
