Summitview Child and Family Services is a nonprofit, public benefit organization that is licensed by the State of California to provide a wide variety of mental health services to children and their families.

Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program

Summitview’s multi-disciplinary team provides services from a strength-based, trauma-informed perspective, which considers the individual needs of all youth. Services are developmentally, culturally, and LGBTQ relevant.

Our Therapeutic Approach

We strive to provide our residents with compassion, education, inclusion, and support. Summitview does this by providing individual, family, and group therapy with a daily program designed to prompt clients into using new skills and self-soothing techniques. Summitview draws from evidence-based treatments such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Nurtured Heart curriculum in an array of treatments designed to teach, support, and collaborate with youth and families.
